Switzerland – Circus Casino France buys shares in Casino Crans-Montana

Circus Casino France, the French subsidiary of Gaming1, has increased its presence in Switzerland with the purchase of Partouche’s shares in Casino Crans-Montana.

This operation allows Circus Casino France to become the main shareholder of the establishment with 57 per cent with the remaining share percentages remain in the possession of the municipalities of Crans-Montana, Lens and Icogne, as well as the Ispar Holding group.

The company said: “We must emphasize that this transaction allows Circus Casino France to enter the Swiss market in an establishment that before the outbreak of the health crisis had an annual turnover of CHF15m.”

Casino Crans-Montana, a renowned casino located in Valais, has 53 employees, was founded in 2000, offers slot machines and table games.

Sébastien Leclercq, Country Manager Circus Casino France, said that the transaction highlights the company’s growth strategy and highlights the outstanding reputation of Casino Crans-Montana.

Gaming1 has developed a technological and digital platform that allows land-based operators in regulated markets to develop an online presence through legal gaming sites. Gaming1 is expected to soon develop an omnichannel offering for Swiss gamers.
