Switzerland – Spirit Gaming completes Interblock install at Grand Casino Lucerne

Spirit Gaming, the partner for Interblock in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg, has completed an install of automated roulette, video bacarat and Bubble Generator terminals at Grand Casino Lucerne in Switzerland.
Located on the shore of the beautiful Lake Lucerne, surrounded by mountains, the casino was voted ‘Best Casino in Switzerland 2016’ but has since undergone a modernisation process with its re-launch on September 9.
Spirit has installed eight player Interblock Diamond terminals in both the smoking and non-smoking areas. The install has also included 16 player stations, with each equipped with a large 27” monitor, and all connected to a centralwheel. Each Interblock Dimanond configuration has four large screens placed above it. The lower two screens are reserved for game statistics, and the marketing department at Grand Casino Lucerne has reserved the upper two screens for a variety of options. Players will be able to learn more about what the casino is offering, and can even watch sports events live. Two Interblock side bet options, ‘Goal! Roulette’ and ‘Golden Chip Progressive Jackpot,’ round out the roulette offering.
The city of Lucerne is a tourist magnet, drawing visitors from around the world. More than 210,000 guests were registered last year, who enjoyed playing on more than 270 slot machines and 13 live gaming tables. Lucerne is particularly popular amongst Asian guests and the casino management is ensuring that these people will be able to play their favourite games here. The Interblock Video Baccarat Generator can be played on all the terminals and the G5 Bubble Generator allows players to enjoy Keno. This means that players at Grand Casino Lucerne can now bet on automated roulette, live roulette, baccarat and keno — all from the same Interblock terminal. This is something that has never before been available in Switzerland.
