By - 2 April 2020

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic the number of events and conferences being postponed, cancelled and reimagined in digital formats grows daily. New to the list is iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam 2020, both of which have been postponed until September.

Naomi Barton, Group Event Director of the iGB Affiliate global series of events has confirmed the postponement to September 22-25 2020, with the event still taking place at the RAI Amsterdam, bringing together the affiliate and iGaming industries later this year in the Autumn season.

In a statement Naomi said: “Gaming, just like all sectors of the global economy, has been hit incredibly hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. As event organisers, we are also experiencing first-hand the impact of this awful virus on multiple levels alongside you, and we know how challenging this period is turning out to be for so many of our customers.

‘After careful consideration, planning and conversations with many stakeholders in our industry, we have made the decision to postpone iGB Live 2020 until September. I utterly recognise that this has so far proved to be an ever-increasing period of uncertainty, and in a way it’s never been more important for us to remain a community, listen to each other and come out of this unprecedented time with some form of plan for future success and business growth. I hope you’re all managing find to ways to cope, and I’m absolutely here to listen and help where I can’.

Clarion Gaming’s iGB events team encourage those working in the iGaming industry to get in touch by emailing [email protected] with any questions, concerns and ideas. Find out more about iGB Live! at www.igblive.com.
