The Netherlands – Holland Casino starts work on Utrecht Casino

By - 10 October 2019

Holland Casino has begun constriction work for a new casino in Utrecht, which is on course to open in early 2021.

The casino will boast 40 gaming tables and 700 slots, employing over 350 people. It will also house two restaurants and three bars and offer up to 600 parking spots. The new casino, which follows openings in Amsterdam West-Sloterdijk and Groningen opened in 2018, will itself be followed up by another opening in Venlo next year.

Holland Casino CEO Erwin van Lambaart said it would be ‘a unique place to go out with a unique concept and design, for a unique city.’

“The new casino will give Utrecht and the central part of the Netherlands a spectacular nightlife opportunity. It will be full of innovative game selection, entertainment and the latest concepts in food and beverage. It will also have our own-developed Entertainment Zone. A casino for all generations,” Mr. van Lambaart said.
