By - 20 September 2017

The world’s first 3D virtual reality online casino, SlotsMillion, is now available to players in the UK after parent company ALEA.com received its licence from the UK Gambling Commission.

UK players now have access to a portfolio of more than 700 slots from 26 game developers, including Microgaming, Red Tiger Gaming, Quickspin, Merkur Gaming, NextGen, Pragmatic Play, Leander, Core Gaming, Blueprint, Games Warehouse, and NetEnt.

SlotsMillion has taken a mobile-first approach from inception, and offers one of the most seamless and engaging experiences on the market. Its mobile portfolio stands at 500 games strong, one of the largest in the UK.

Games can be accessed from any smartphone, tablet and desktop device, and across iOS, Android and Windows operating systems.

Alexandre Tomic, co-founder of SlotsMillion, said: “Launching in the UK is a huge milestone for SlotsMillion and one we are very proud to have achieved.

“Our core focus is to offer players a unique, engaging and most importantly, entertaining experience, which we believe UK players will find when they walk through the digital doors of our casino.”

Those who own an Oculus Rift headset can also walk through the doors of the SlotsMillion VR Casino, which is located on the virtual top floor of a modern, sleek skyscraper building and boasts a lounge, bar and dozens of slot machines.

Once inside, players can explore the area, where they will find more than 40 player favourites such as Big Bad Wolf, Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest and Jack and the Beanstalk.

Those who do not have access to Oculus Rift hardware can still enjoy the SlotsMillion Casino experience in 3D on their desktop computers.

ALEA was founded with the aim of creating a world-class online casino experience and to design and develop new technologies and innovations to drive player engagement and take online casino to the next level.

The operator has offices in Barcelona and Malta, and employs a team of around 50 designers, developers and customer service agents.
