UK – ACOS becoming increasingly relevant for UK Amusements & Coin-Op industries

By - 5 September 2022

The 2022 Autumn Coin-Op Show (ACOS) will take place on October 19 to 20 at the ILEC Conference Centre in London’s Earls Court. Successful from the very outset, ACOS has responded to requests from within the industry for a UK focused event at the end of the summer season.

Show Organiser, Karen Cooke believes that in today’s economic climate, the focus that ACOS brings is particularly relevant: “Operators are facing unprecedented challenges in today’s economic climate, and nothing can be taken for granted. In every facet of our Industry, managers have been forced into a zero-based approach, examining both opportunities and risks in minute detail.

“ACOS has acquired the reputation of a relaxed event at which participants can discuss business in a supportive environment. This exchange of information, along with a showcase of exciting new products are crucial in today’s tough economic situation. After all, no one has the exclusivity on good ideas,” confirms Karen.

Without doubt, there are numerous compelling reasons for anyone involved in out-of-home leisure and amusements to visit ACOS. The show’s West London location has been the preferred choice of the coin-op and amusement fraternity for many years. In addition to good transport links, there are excellent restaurants and huge choice of hotel accommodation at every level, including the IBIS Hotel for those who wish to remain on site. Preferential rates and particularly flexible booking terms have been secured at a choice of nearby hotels by ACOS’ accommodation partner Event Express and are accessible via the ACOS website.

The purpose-built ILEC Centre is one of the most up-to-date venues in London, with loading bay access at street level for the convenience of exhibitors, and a completely pillar-free exhibition space. Exhibitors and visitors alike appreciate the uninterrupted views across the show floor.

A unique focus on the UK ensures that visitors to ACOS will see only products that are available and compliant for the UK market, freeing up time spent for engaging directly with exhibitors at their stands.

ACOS 2022 Exhibitors represent the very best the industry has to offer, often promising visitors first-sight of products destined for launch in the New Year. Leading companies that have confirmed include, Crown Leisure, Electrocoin, Playsafe Systems, GeWeTe, NSM Music, SB Machines, UDC, Touchtunes UK, and Wexel Gaming. A full exhibitor list is available at www.coin-opshow.co.uk

For most ACOS participants it’s about the networking, and the show floor has been designed with this in mind. Comfortable seating areas and readily available refreshments ensure that both planned and impromptu chats can take place, in comfort, right on the show floor.

The tradition of the popular post-show drinks reception will continue at the end of the first day. The venue, the George & Dragon Pub, is conveniently located on-site and the event will be perfect for catching-up with business friends and colleagues.
