UK – EAG organisers confirm launch of Bingo feature at 2023 show

By - 6 December 2022

Underlining a commitment to deliver a show floor which reflects the energy of the industry sectors that it represents, EAG 2023 (January 10 to 12, ExCeL London) will host its first Bingo Hub.

Show organisers have confirmed that some ofthe best-known suppliers to the sectors will be part of the feature which has been organised in partnership with the Bingo Association.

The central hub located on stand 254 of the EAG show floor will include specialist bingo suppliers comprising Shipley Creative, ECM Systems Ltd, Cowells Arrow, Wexel Gaming, NRM and Willow Communication.

EAG Chairman, Martin Burlin, welcomed the new feature which he believes will serve as a focal point for the sector. He stated: “There has always been a cross-over between bingo on the one hand and the amusements/low stake gaming sectors on the other. It makes infinite sense to harness that synergy and create a dedicated area where the bingo industry can meet and access the key suppliers.

“I am delighted that we have been able to collaborate with our colleagues at the Bingo Association in such a positive way and I look forward to seeing this feature go from strength to strength.”

Nicola Lazenby, Show Director responsible for EAG added: “Delivering a compelling show floor which reflects the dynamism of the industry has been a central objective and bingo is an important part of the EAG experience. Rather than have bingo suppliers located throughout the exhibition, by working with our customers and with the help of the team at the Bingo Association we have created a central point where visitors with a special interest in bingo can meet and network.

“This is the second feature that we will be launching at EAG 2023 and follows the announcement regarding EAG’s Safer Gambling Hub which will be the first dedicated to the low stake gaming sector and will include leading not-for-profit organisations that are active in the space. Safer Gambling is top of the agenda for many of our stakeholders and EAG will be a resource for information, insight and engagement.”
