UK – Gambling Commission suspends lottery licence of Capen
By Phil - 10 December 2020
The UK Gambling Commission has suspended the licence of charitable lottery operator Capen pending a review under s116 of the Gambling Act.
The review follows concerns that activities may have been carried out contrary to the Gambling Act, not in accordance with a condition of their licence and that the Licensee may be unsuitable to carry on the licensed activities.
Capen runs The Little Lottery, The Sports Lotto and Zaffo, specialising in raffle-type draws with smaller prizes.
