UK – IGT ranked as no. 1 iGaming Platforms Vendor

International Game Technology has been ranked as a Champion, the highest possible rating, in Info-Tech Research Group’s iGaming Platforms Vendor Landscape for the Gaming and Hospitality Research Center.
The Info-Tech Research Group’s Vendor Landscape reports recognize outstanding vendors in the technology marketplace. They assess vendors by the strength of their offering and their strategy for the enterprise, paying tribute to the contribution of exceptional vendors in a particular category.
For this iGaming Platforms Vendor Landscape, Info-Tech focused on those vendors that offer broad capabilities across multiple platforms and that have a strong market presence and/or reputational presence among mid- to large-sized enterprises. IGT was one of 11 vendors chosen for the assessment, and received exemplary scores for product features, vendor viability and vendor strategy, and good scores for product usability, product architecture, vendor reach and vendor integration. IGT’s Champion status represents the highest ranking, followed by Market Pillar, Innovator and Emerging Player.
“The industry is at a high point of tension as the world, and especially the United States, waits to see how regulations will evolve,” said Larry Fretz, Gaming and Hospitality Practice Lead, Info-Tech Research Group. “Given this uncertainty, and the unfamiliar nature of online casinos to most US operators, Info-Tech has chosen experienced vendors who have already proven themselves in regulated, legal markets in the US, Canada, and Europe.”
According to the report, IGT has one of the most advanced customisation capabilities, said Mr. Fretz. “Operators with a global client base, especially in Europe, should look at IGT. US land-based operators currently using GTECH, IGT, or SPIELO technologies for land-based machines or Casino Management Systems (CMS) should also consider IGT’s offering if they wish to expand their online presence. This solution is also suitable for casinos looking for a high degree of customization.”
