UK – Majestic Bingo pushes diversification with Bulldog installations

By - 5 April 2019

UK bingo brand Majestic and pusher manufacturer Bulldog Games are participating in an innovative approach to enhancing the entertainment experience for bingo customers.

Majestic National Operations Manager, Eric Howell, is pioneering the siting of Bulldog pushers into a number of the brand’s clubs. Explaining the concept, Eric Howell said: “We wanted something that was fun and different but ultimately something that our customers wanted to play. We did have pushers and cranes in years gone past but not ones that fully captured the fun and excitement of redemption all rolled into one machine. We were looking for something that customers know having had fun days out at the coastal towns.”

With Mr. Howell describing the cashbox performance as ‘promising’ all of the indications suggest the income is not being cannibalised from Majestic’s gaming machines. “At this stage we can definitely confirm this is new income” stated Howell “It’s noticeable to see customers not known for machine play having a go. Our customers have certainly enjoyed the fun element and have been trying to collect our smaller prizes on the cash bed. The redemption tickets have also been a novelty for them and we are already seeing customers saving for larger prizes.”

He added: “If you’re going to go down an innovative approach to the machine offer you need a partner who shares similar values with a reputation for delivery and service and Bulldog is a great fit. We want to keep the offer fresh and identify a tangible route to deliver both customer enjoyment and achieve incremental income growth. Our approach is to keep the customer at the heart of everything we do and our experience with Bulldog is an important part of that philosophy.”
