UK – Reflex appoints Ian Chuter

By - 5 November 2015

Quentin Stott, Managing Director of Reflex Gaming, the UK-based independent low-stake gaming creator, has confirmed the appointment of senior gaming executive, Ian Chuter, as Non-Executive Director.

Mr. Chuter, who has 30-years experience gained across the spectrum of gaming, started his senior career as Sales & Marketing Director at The Rank Group, going on to join adult gaming centre operator, Talarius in 1997. He subsequently moved to William Hill in 2001, becoming International Group Director of Operations in 2009. His most recent post was at Betfair, where he was Group Operations Director and part of the senior management team which contributed to the significant success enjoyed by the Betfair business.

Explaining Mr. Chuter’s role within Reflex, Quentin Stott said: “First of all, can I say how delighted we are that someone of Ian’s calibre shares our vision for the company and has joined us, in what is a key role for the business.

“With his time spent both at the Rank Group and Talarius, he has a comprehensive understanding of UK low-stake gaming. However, and most significantly, he also has the strategic nous, the knowledge and the insight to help us take Reflex on the next stage of the fantastic journey which began when we launched in 2004. This signals a further exciting and dynamic phase in our business development as we develop Reflex Gaming BV in the Netherlands, confirm the implementation of our digital strategy, both on and offline, enhance our already strong position in social gaming and deploy our assets and skill sets into the mobile space.”

Ian Chuter added: “Since launching in 2004 the progress that has been made by Reflex has been hugely impressive – by anyone’s standards. The company now has a 30 per cent share of the single site market for Category C gaming machines, has been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies by the 2015 Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track and recently moved into a new £1.5m multi–purpose manufacturing facility and head office.

“This is an extremely exciting time for a business which has an independent, entrepreneurial and invigorating outlook. I look forward with great enthusiasm to contributing to this Great British success story.”
