By - 22 April 2013

The sister company of an independent, British payment services provider has been granted a license to offer payment processing, patron identification and geo-location services for internet gambling in the state of Nevada.

Building on years of experience in the online payments sector in Europe, SecureTrading Inc. is poised to partner with licensed gambling operators to provide a single interface for maintaining regulatory compliance and money laundering controls, while offering the highest levels of consumer protection and financial integrity.

Kobus Paulsen, CEO of the UC Group, the holding company of SecureTrading Inc said: “We’re ready to assist licensed gambling operators to quickly implement and expand their operations in Nevada and elsewhere, bringing to the table unmatched experience. Together with our partners, we¹ve got the best-of-breed technology in this sector for making licensed operators compliant.”

Chris Thom, Chairman of SecureTrading, stressed that the company¹s readiness to integrate with gambling operators in the U.S. sets them apart from their competitors. “We began developing our tailored payments, ID verification and geolocation solution for the U.S. market a few years back in anticipation of a regulated Internet gambling marketplace.”

“We’re prepared to serve as a seamless, one-stop shop for licensed gambling operators, allowing our partners to focus more exclusively on their core business.”

Peter Bernhard, Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission, added: “In looking at this application, and we looked at a couple of others as well, my feeling was that you are precisely the type of person with the type of background and knowledge that will be a supplement to our existing staff and our existing licensees that are on the operating level that we hope to attract in the state of Nevada.”

SecureTrading currently supports thousands of merchants globally including PokerStars, Bwin PartyGaming (PartyPoker and PartyCasino), the original Fantasy League, World Poker Tour (WPT), the Georgia Lottery and Sportech USA.
