UK – Skyrocket snaps up The Games Company

Skyrocket Entertainment has acquired independent casino games studio, The Games Company, a provider of online casino games licensed in multiple jurisdictions.
With established relationships across multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 online casino operators and government lotteries including William Hill, Leander, Rank Group, Nektan and Loto-Quebec. TGC’s product portfolio of 10 games includes Hippie Chicks, Cash Cowboy and Super 7 Wilds, which are available in 30+ languages, feature a freespin promotion engine and offer multi-currency wagering including cryptocurrencies. TGC’s games are available in the UK and markets served from Gibraltar with several new launches scheduled for later in 2019.
The deal was struck between Skyrocket Entertainment founders, Sean O’Kelly and Richard Clarke – together with BlockChain Innovations Corp’s CTO and Director, Morris Mosseri. TGC co-founder, Hans Winkelmann, will work alongside Skyrocket’s senior management team as CPO to implement a revitalised business operations strategy. The deal sees Skyrocket acquire 100% of the shares in TGC and the Remote Gaming Server from Black Cow Technology.
