UK-based AV integration specialist TVC Technology Solutions, part of Bolton-based TVD Group, has transformed luxury bookmakers Star Sports Betting in the centre of London with cutting-edge, state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment.
As one of the leading bookmakers in the UK, Star Sports Betting remains one of the top choices among London’s premium betting establishments. Star Sports Betting has created a reputation for expertise, integrity, and professionalism, attracting high net worth clientele from all around the world.
Building upon TVC’s trusted and valued relationship with Star Sports, the integrator company was approached to help create a new flagship store in Mayfair, London. As the second shop in this location, they wanted to take their luxury bookmaker experience to the next level and stand out as the future of luxury betting shops. Using the latest technology available within the betting industry, TVC transformed the two-storey venue with multiple videos walls, display screens, touch screens, digital signage, and audio.
TVC is a division of the TVD Group, which has recently become employee owned, and is a leading UK provider in audio visual solutions on both commercial and domestic fronts.
Lucia Maguire, Managing Director at TVD Group, commented: “We have been working with Star Sports for five years and with members of the senior management team for Star Sports for over eight years. Star Sports is one of the fastest growing independent bookmakers in the UK and we are so proud to have assisted it on its way with innovative technology, which enhances the appearance and the performance of the shops and the customer’s experience.”
The project involved TVC installing a range of detail-rich 43” Samsung Hospitality screens, offering crisp and vivid colours to immerse customers in every subtle detail. A further seven 50” Samsung Crystal UHD 4K TVs were also securely mounted throughout the venue.
To create a truly captivating experience for Star Sports customers, TVC installed two ultra-narrow bezel video walls and five 5 x Advantech 43” touch screen monitors, to show digital newspapers to bookmakers. Behind each reception desk, TVC placed two Vestel 49” Digital Signage screens suitable for 24/7 operation. To complete the screen line-up, a 49” DynaScan Ultra High Brightness display for the ground-level shop window, specifically designed for high ambient light environments to show live horse racing action externally at street level.
Paul Kirkby, Head of Retail at Star Sports said: “We are so pleased to have opened our flagship Mayfair betting lounge with top-of-the-range audio and visual equipment. Working with TVC was fantastic and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We look forward to opening new shops as well as upgrading our current locations.”
