Ukraine – BetConstruct demonstrates power of ANJA at Ukraine AI conference.

By - 30 September 2019

BetConstruct showcased the extensive power of FeedConstruct’s smart live scouting tool AJNA at AI Ukraine, the international conference on artificial intelligence and data science, hosted in Kyiv, Ukraine, in September.

Dmytro Fedyukov, Head of Data Science at SoftConstruct, talked about the operations FeedConstruct conducts in the field of big data ranging from working with complex engineering systems and programming for data science to developing innovative solutions for sports and putting them into practice.

AJNA brings a high-precision video analysis of football matches conducted in real-time without any assistance from the operator’s side. The tool uses advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning technology to recognise key elements of gameflow and present game data via an augmented live video stream.

A spokesperson at BetConstruct said: “Infusing our solutions with methods of automated data analysis, we have developed the AJNA data scouting tool responsible for gameflow recognition of sporting events. The solution bears the title of third-eye chakra for a reason. AJNA gathers insights and statistical data that a human eye can’t see, thus enriching our sports betting offering.

The solution bears the title of third-eye chakra for a reason. AJNA gathers insights and statistical data that a human eye can’t see, thus enriching the sports betting offering. The new data scouting tool passed a grand live testing at this year’s ICE.

The benefits are obvious. AJNA not only improves the accuracy of data scouting in sports betting, it also allows for the collection of more technical data opening up new markets to bet on.

Combining augmented live video streaming and artificial intelligence, the system takes data collection and analysis to previously unimaginable levels. It uses cameras to track players and the ball automatically collate statistical information in real-time on the match and each player. The complex system uses terminology such as ‘full-field geometry’ and ‘geo-spatial.’ It can be used to analyse player performance in terms of speed, distance run, pass accuracy, tackles, shots and goals as well as predicting things such as goal likelihood in real-time.

AJNA will be developed to cover full live on-field coverage of other sports in the future.
