US – 2023 East Coast Gaming Congress to take place at Hard Rock Atlantic City

By - 20 February 2023

Electronic gaming devices that operate outside casinos are a multibillion-dollar industry across the country, regularly found in bars, restaurants, truckstops, gaming rooms, fraternal organizations and racetracks. They include historical horse racing machines, skill games, electronic bingo machines, video poker, and others. Many of these games are legal, many are clearly illegal.

A panel of industry experts will examine this rapidly evolving issue at the East Coast Gaming Congress to be held 19-20 April at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino – Atlantic City. The speakers participating in this session, Distributed Gaming: Regulated and Otherwise, will include:

– Jeffrey Morris, Vice President, Public Affairs and Government Relations, Penn Entertainment
– Matt Roob, Senior Vice President, Spectrum Gaming Group
– Denise J. Smyler, Chair, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board
– Louis Trombetta, Executive Director, Florida Gaming Control Commission

The panel will be moderated by Spectrum Managing Director, Michael Pollock.

This year’s ECGC features a series of keynote speeches from industry leaders – including 10 of the industry’s top CEOs. There will also be panel discussions and a networking reception at Hard Rock’s DAER Nightclub. Panel topics will focus on issues facing the industry, including:

– iGaming in 2023
– Sports Betting
– Cashless Wagering
– Wall Street Wisdom

The two-day conference is organized and produced by Cooper Levenson, Attorneys at Law; Spectrum Gaming Group; Playdoit; and SI Sports Book.
