US – Angel of the Winds adds more slots and amenities in Washington
By Phil - 29 October 2019Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort has celebrated the grand opening of the property’s 2019 Xpansion project with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 24 at the main casino entrance.
The property, located near Arlington, Washington, is owned by the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians.
The lineup of new features comprises of a parking garage, a completely remodelled casino floor that includes an expanded gaming area with new amenity locations, Strikerz Bowling, All Things Sports, Rivers Run Event Center, Whiskey Prime Steakhouse, Jade Fusion, Riverside Buffet, Gateway Bar, and Gravity Bar.
“After more than a year of construction, and especially these last couple of months with the remodeling of the casino floor, it is great to see the final product,” General Manager, Travis O’Neil said. “It is a new level of excitement as Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort has added many new amenities to our property.”
The Xperience Players Club has transitioned to the new area and started providing Cashier-related services like check cashing, slot and table games cash-outs, currency Xchanges, coupon redemptions, concert ticket purchases, tax forms, and more. The floor renovation also includes a new Gift Shop location on the expanded gaming floor and upgrades to the High Limit room.
There is also a new Keno Lounge, which exudes a radiant, modernized appearance and has around double the seating capacity compared to the previous location. Once guests pick their numbers on their Keno ticket, they can stay in the lounge and watch their numbers appear on the screen, or they can go enjoy other venues while they monitor Keno on TV screens placed throughout the floor. In addition to its selection of daily games, the Keno Lounge also conducts two Keno tournaments each month, as well as special promotions throughout the year.
“The spacious layout of slot machines and table games, along with the renovated gaming area’s amenities, provides the best possible comfort level for all guests,” Mr. O’Neil said.
The event center’s 8,800-square-foot space can be divided into three sections and boasts state-of-the-art technology, making it the perfect venue for headline shows, gatherings, employee functions, conferences, and more. “Rivers Run Event Center is a uniquely designed space that has been well received by the local community as the location to hold your meetings and events,” General Manager, Travis O’Neil said. “We are very excited to open these new outlets, as our decisions were based on guest feedback,” General Manager. As we welcome our returning guests and also guests that may have not visited us before, they will find that people experience the excitement more at Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort.”
