US – Aristocrat’s Buffalo Bar stampedes into Las Vegas with Rampart launch

Aristocrat Technologies has now launched its first ever Buffalo Bar in the west located at Rampart Casino in Summerlin, on the Westside of Las Vegas.

The 1,095 square-foot room that has more than 60 Buffalo-branded game including the new Winner’s World Multi-Game bar top, featuring Buffalo slots and Buffalo Keno, as well as the original Buffalo, Buffalo Gold, Buffalo Gold Revolution, Buffalo Stampede, Buffalo Diamond, and Buffalo Grand. The bar even features the signature ‘Hairy Buffalo’ cocktail.

Jon Hanlin, Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy and data analytics for Aristocrat, said: ““We’re excited to unveil the Buffalo Bar concept in partnership with Rampart Casino. Buffalo has become a staple in the gaming community, and we’re excited to create an experience for players unlike any other. Rampart is an amazing customer of ours and is a perfect partner who’s invested in Aristocrat. They were trying to activate that space, and we collaboratively came up with the Buffalo Bar concept that has taken off and gotten a lot of press and attention.”

Michelle Bacigalupi, Vice President and General Manager at Rampart Casino, said: “Our customers know and love the Buffalo brand, so to partner with Aristocrat and launch the first Buffalo Bar with all the different themed gaming options in one area is forward-thinking from the casino-side and very exciting for our players.”

Lorie Foerschler, Vice President of slot operations for the Rampart, added: “We wanted to make a splash because we have a lot of confidence in their slots,” he said. “The Buffalo brand has such longevity. You have legacy games and brand-new games with different experiences within the brand that makes it easier to pull off a section like that. There are participation games and wide-area progressive so it doesn’t look like the same product. There’s a lot to be said about branding slot sections and appealing to different demographics and giving yourself a new identity in the building.”

Dan Long, VP of Marketing at Rampart added: “Our players love Buaffalo. How can you not love Buaffalo? It’s the game that screams at you back. This room used to be the race and sportsbook at the casino. We decided to move it and then theme the area with buffalo games which have been so iconic throughout the years.

Aristocrat is keen to roll-out the Buffalo Bar concept to more casinos in the Las Vegas market.
