US – BetMGM confirms it has 25 per cent of US betting market

BetMGM has said it has ‘established itself as a market leader, delivering strong performance in line with its ambitions’ in the North American sports betting market.

The company said it has achieved the No. 1 position with 25 per cent share in U.S. sports betting and iGaming markets where it operates. It added that it has ‘consistent leadership in the U.S. iGaming market with 29 per cent share.’

It has pitched its total addressable market (TAM) in the U.S. and Canada at $37bn, driven by expansion in online sports betting and strong customer dynamics.

It expects FY 2022 net revenues over $1.3bn and t reach positive EBITDA during 2023.
