US – Caesars appoints Matt Sunderland as Senior VP of online gaming

Caesars Entertainment announced today that Matt Sunderland has been appointed to Senior Vice President of iGaming effective 1 October. Sunderland joins the team with more than 20 years of experience in the online gaming industry. Most recently he served as VP of Gaming for BetMGM, where he oversaw successful iGaming launches in new jurisdictions and led the team to triple-digit revenue growth year-over-year.
“This is an exciting time to be in iGaming and at Caesars Entertainment, and I am so pleased to join the Caesars team,” said Matt Sunderland. “As the industry continues to grow, I’m looking forward to identifying new potential for our iGaming business while continuing to bring top-notch service to our customers.”
Prior to working for BetMGM, Sunderland was an iGaming consultant for GVC and MGM Resorts and has also held several senior leadership roles at Probability PLC, GTECH/IGT and CNN International.
