US – Clarion co-locate two gaming brands to create a formidable presence across the Americas
By Phil - 12 October 2017Clarion Gaming has consolidated its position in the Americas by co-locating the GiGse and Juegos Miami brand events at the popular Biltmore Hotel venue in Miami (May 30 – June 1).
GiGse, which helps stakeholders to prepare brands for future channels and regulated markets to commercialize gaming in the current climate, moves from its traditional April date in San Francisco.
Explaining the strategy, Kate Chambers, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming said: “Having two events in such close proximity to each other and on the same continent made life unnecessarily complicated for our stakeholders. Having consulted with the market we have taken the decision to co-locate GiGse with Juegos Miami and in the process create a formidable presence for gaming professionals and regulators who have interests across the Americas.
“We are in a unique position of having two distinct entities which also have cross over opportunities for delegates wishing to learn and network. GiGse, which was first held in 2003, will offer paid-for content covering the North American gaming market, with Juegos Miami continuing to provide free, bespoke content for the developing Pan Latin American and Caribbean gaming economies.
She added: “One of the many benefits of having a portfolio such as ours is that it enables us to take decisions that are in the best interests of our stakeholders and which benefit the market rather than have two event organisers involved in a head to head and congesting the industry events calendar. Delegates whose primary interest is gaming in North America will be able to access the world class content that GiGse is known for and, at no extra cost, network and engage with thought leaders active in Latin America and the Caribbean. Clarion’s overarching objective is to deliver a global strategy on behalf of our stakeholders and this is a powerful representation of that corporate objective in action.”
