US – Cordish sets up PLAY $10 / GIVE $10 charitable initiative

The Cordish Companies and its Live! Casino & Hotel has launched a new and unique charitable initiative estimated to result in $1m in new giving for 2017.
With the newly launched PLAY $10 / GIVE $10 program, the first $10 that each casino guest wagers on a slot machine or table game in January, using their Live! Rewards Card, will be directed to Live! Casino’s philanthropic giving fund for the year. The initiative is the only one of its kind in the State.

Norton, President, Cordish Global Gaming Group. “We are a recognized economic engine and philanthropic leader in the State, and are always looking for new ways to be a good neighbor. PLAY $10 / GIVE $10 is another demonstration that we are local and here to stay. And it lets us make our customers – our extended family – partners in our giving for 2017.”

“PLAY $10 / GIVE $10” begins immediately and will continue throughout January. It is the practice of Live! Casino & Hotel to dispense philanthropic contributions throughout the year to a wide range of organizations. Past recipients include such notable organizations as Susan G. Komen Maryland; the USO of Baltimore-Washington DC; the Casey Cares Foundation; the Capital Pride Alliance; and the American Red Cross, to name a few. The companies also sponsor numerous international non-profit and business organizations, which benefit regional Asian and Hispanic communities.
