US – Duo from Aliante Casino to lead SLS Las Vegas

The SLS Las Vegas on the Strip is turning to two top executives from the Aliante casino in North Las Vegas, operated by Boyd Gaming, to help turn things around at the property.
Stockbridge Capital Partners, the San Francisco investment group that owns SLS Las Vegas has named Terry Downey as President and COO, replacing Scott Kreeger, and Robert Schaffhauser, as CFO.
Terry Fancher, Executive Managing Director at Stockbridge, said: “Terry and Bob bring a tremendous amount of experience and insight to SLS Las Vegas. They will apply their valuable expertise to maximizing the potential of this rejuvenated and historic property.”
The SLS opened in August 2014 at the site of Sahara Hotel & Casino. Mr. Downey spent 15 years working for Station Casinos whilst Mr. Schaffhauser also worked in finance roles for Colony Resorts and Trump Casinos.
