US – FanDuel Group and Twin River Worldwide partner to bring sports betting to Colorado

Twin River Worldwide Holdings and FanDuel Group have announced a market access partnership to bring the FanDuel Sportsbook app and America’s top online sports betting experience to the state of Colorado.
The partnership combines Twin River Worldwide Holdings nationwide experience in gaming and casino operations with FanDuel Group’s market-leading sports betting expertise and global brand. Colorado is the fifth state in the United States where the FanDuel Sportsbook online and mobile platform will be available.
As previously announced last Friday, Twin River Worldwide Holdings completed the acquisition of Golden Gates Casino, Golden Gulch Casino and Golden Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado. With the completion of this acquisition, Twin River also acquired the right to three sports gaming licenses in Colorado, which is how this partnership came about.

The FanDuel Sportsbook online and app experience will be available for residents and visitors to Colorado in the coming months. The FanDuel Sportsbook online and app experience offers more betting options and markets than any other operator including point spreads, moneylines, over/under, parlays, teasers, prop bets, round robins and an extensive list of live in-game wagers. FanDuel is powered by its proprietary risk and trading technology.
This announcement comes on the heels of Twin River announcing the acquisition of three casinos in Colorado. Golden Gates, Golden Gulch and Mardi Gras are located in close proximity to one another along a half mile strip of casino and casino-hotel properties in the historic mining town of Black Hawk, Colorado. Together the properties contain a combined 36,000 square feet of gaming space featuring nearly 20 table games, approximately 700 slots and a poker parlor. The properties also offer three restaurants and 24/7 bars, and one of the only parking garages in the market, with 700 spaces.
Golden Gates, Golden Gulch and Mardi Gras casinos will join Twin River’s vastly growing portfolio, consisting of two casinos in Rhode Island, one in Mississippi, and one in Delaware, as well as their Colorado horse racetrack that has 13 authorised OTB licenses. Properties include Twin River Casino Hotel (Lincoln, RI), Tiverton Casino Hotel (Tiverton, RI), Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (Biloxi, MS), Dover Downs Hotel & Casino (Dover, DE) and Arapahoe Park racetrack (Aurora, CO).
