US-FutureLogic’s Gen2 in Leap Forward field trial

By - 8 June 2012

FutureLogic’s Gen2 Universal printer has been selected to be included in the Nevada Gaming Control Board field trial for Leap Forward Gaming’s (LFG) patented SaffariNet wireless ecosystem currently underway at a Reno casino.

Leap Forward’s ground-breaking SaffariNet system provides a highly secure wireless access to the printer’s second port, allowing operators an easy portal to perform remote firmware upgrades and print coupons at any EGM equipped with a Gen2 Universal printer.

Eric Meverhofer, CEO for FutureLogic, said: “We are extremely pleased to provide Gen2 Universal printers for this important Nevada field trial of the SaffariNet ecosystem, which will allow gaming manufacturers and operators to fully realize the capabilities of FutureLogic’s PromoNet Intelligent Couponing Solution. Our partnership with LFG provides an end-to-end solution for FutureLogic’s PromoNet Solution that makes intelligent promotional couponing an immediate reality to operators of casinos, AWPs, and VLTs worldwide. FutureLogic has always been a key player in emerging technologies and will continue this trend by embracing the substantial wireless and real-time data capabilities of Leap Forward’s SaffariNet ecosystem.”

Ali Saffari CEO of Leap Forward Gaming, added: “We are always eager to engage with partners that are technologically advanced in their thinking and the team at FutureLogic clearly understands the benefits of our SaffariNet ecosystem. Utilizing the Gen2 Universal printer’s features and its second-port capability, along with LFG’s knowledge of wireless system development and applications, we have achieved a key milestone on the road to a significantly enhanced casino floor. We look forward to obtaining Nevada regulatory approval of the SaffariNet ecosystem, which offers new levels of connectivity and features to all gaming machines in a cost-effective way.”
