Global Gaming Expo (G2E), presented by the American Gaming Association has announced significant additions to its leadership team with two new seasoned gaming and event management professionals joining the team along with an expansion of the Customer Support team.

Ed Several, Senior Vice President of Reed Exhibitions, has been named to lead all aspects of G2E, while Kevin McDonald has joined G2E as industry vice president.

“We’re excited about the renewed enthusiasm and excitement these gaming and event management professionals will bring to G2E in 2015 and beyond,” said Nancy Walsh, president, Reed Exhibitions North America. “This team brings the customer insights and passion to support our customers in improving their business outcomes and a proven track record to enable G2E to continue to offer the best platform for the global gaming industry to grow their business.”

Mr. Several has 11 years of senior event management and prior gaming experience. He has transformed major tradeshow brands such as the PGA Show, National Hardware Show and others. Having developed and marketed a Keno-style racing game and multiple scratch lottery concepts in several states, Mr. Several has a unique gaming development, sales and marketing perspective as well.

Mr. McDonald has more than 15 years of experience as an event, sales and marketing executive for the entertainment, professional sports and casino gaming industry. He most recently led hotel and conference operations and special events at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Altoona, Iowa. He has also led the operations for professional sports teams, including the Kansas City Brigade, Chicago Rush and the Iowa Barnstormers Arena Football teams.

“We’re confident that the additions to the G2E leadership team, with their extensive industry experience, will help ensure that we provide significant value to AGA members, especially our manufacturers, and take G2E to the next level,” said Ron Rosenbaum, chief operating officer of the American Gaming Association (AGA).

Several and McDonald join other executives supporting the G2E family of events who provide continuity for the flagship industry show.

Nancy Jo Hauck will head the newly launched Integrated Resort Experience at G2E. She is a veteran show manager who has managed events for more than 15 years. She combines her experience from managing gaming industry shows with multiple years of client business development to add value for Integrated Resort Experience at G2E customers.

Ginger Curtis, a gaming industry veteran with more than 15 years gaming experience will lead G2E Conference and Key Attending Customer Strategy. Combining her unique understanding of the gaming industry with valuable conference experience, she will enhance the value G2E offers the business of gaming.

Additionally, Todd Sheahan has been named Group Sales Director for G2E. With several years of G2E experience, Mr. Sheahan offers insight to support all G2E exhibiting customers. He joins Don Wells, a G2E veteran, who will continue to support G2E exhibitors’ growth strategies as Customer Sales Specialist for G2E. The G2E Sales Team has also expanded to better support the industry with the addition of two additional Customer Sales Specialists; Charlie Pace has joined from Reed UK, where he supported European customers participating at G2E and Tim Ross, formerly a financial services and retail executive, has joined to provide extensive exhibiting experience. He will add buyer perspective to the conference’s consultative approach.

Further, after an intensive RFP process, G2E management and its partner, AGA, have selected Kirvin Doak Communications (KDC) as its public relations, communications and marketing partner for the show. An award-winning agency based in Las Vegas that specializes in gaming, KDC’s client list includes MGM Resorts International, Miracle Mile Shops, the D Las Vegas, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, The Joint and many others.

With deep gaming, marketing, event and customer experience support, the G2E team, along with its partner, AGA, intends to build on the success of the 15-year-old event and provide a valuable platform for the gaming industry’s evolution. The Las Vegas event will be held September 29 to October 1 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
