Ewa Bakun, Head of Content at Clarion Gaming and the person responsible for producing the ICE Sports Betting USA agenda, believes the response to what promises to be the industry’s definitive Sports Betting event, reflects the size of the opportunity as well as the influence of the ICE brand. She stated: “Clarion has a long history of working alongside the gaming community in the United States with a number of brands notably GiGse. Last year we took the strategic decision to launch Sports Betting USA at which we published the Clarion Accord, a five point plan of action that provided a route map of objectives, actions, commitments and protocols in order to expedite the introduction of regulated and responsible sports betting across the United States.
“The Supreme Court decision has come at a great time and our commitment with ICE Sports Betting USA is to cover, as the respected thought leader, Cathy Beeding of Churchill Downs referenced ‘the entire ecosystem, A-Z’ of sports betting. The ICE brand is known, trusted and respected throughout the industry which means that we can engage with every voice in the sports betting arena.”
The influential learning, business and networking event will mark the first application of the world famous ICE brand in the United States and follows the Supreme Court’s repeal of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 (PASPA). Leveraging the integrity of the ICE brand and Clarion’s track record of establishing successful events in the United States, ICE Sports Betting USA will be the only b2b event to bring together regulators, sports associations, land based casino operators, online gaming brands and technology providers alike.
