US – IGT’s Wheel of Fortune awards $1.3m slot win at Arizona casino

On 11 November, an anonymous lucky slots player at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale became an instant millionaire, striking it big with a winning pull of $1,316,234.47 on Wheel of Fortune.

Talking Stick Resort features more than 1,000 slot machines and has steadily increased its number of slots, relocating its ARENA Poker Room this past July, to make room on the gaming floor for additional slot machines. The Wheel of Fortune progressive machines at Talking Stick Resort are some of the most popular among guests, featuring an exciting bonus spin. To win the MegaJackpot, a player bets three quarters at a time while attempting to line up the Wheel of Fortune reel symbols on the machine’s payline. The machines are a part of a Native American progressive gaming network which includes 20 casinos statewide. Each time a coin is played in a linked machine, anywhere in the network, the jackpot accumulates money until a winner hits the top jackpot award.
