US – Interblock installs Diamond Dealer Assist stadium at Viejas Casino

By - 13 December 2018

Interblock has installed an 18-seat Diamond Dealer Assist stadium at Viejas Casino & Resort in San Diego, California.

Viejas’s customised gaming space is composed of 18 play stations, three double sided high-definition LCD display screens and two dealer assisted tables that deliver Baccarat and Multi-hand Blackjack. The Baccarat table is equipped as a dual shoe, which allows for continuous gameplay. The flexible platform provides the most efficient use of floor space when multiple games are activate. It offers the most versatile Stadium game portfolio and can run autonomously when dealers are not present while generating play 24/7 and reducing operating expenses.

The live dealer tables are equipped with an easy-to-use dealer console and a camera that allows players to view the live game play from their play station screen in addition to the large LCD displays above. The new Interblock technology allows patrons to play up to four games at once from a single play station, which is equipped with brilliant high-definition graphics offering side bets, statistics, trends, game rules and a strategy card for blackjack.

Todd Simons, General Manager of Viejas, said: “The Interblock Gaming stadium deployment is the final touch on our recent property wide remodel. We are proud to provide this unique amenity to our guests and of our partnership with Interblock.”

Customers playing in the stadium will also be able to enjoy connecting to the Diamond Roulette M-Display located on the casino floor outside of the stadium, which is specially designed to meet local regulations for jurisdictions that cannot place live or automated Roulette. Results are determined by a virtual random number generator (RNG), not by a mechanical RNG. The key element that differentiates this unique offering from a standard Roulette ETG and the M-Display is in the wheel design. The Roulette numbers remain static while pockets on wheel rotate.

John Connelly, CEO of Interblock, said: “We are excited to make this stadium project with Viejas a showcase in Southern California for both our organizations. Our intention is to introduce products not yet seen in any other stadium within the state.”
