US – JACK Entertainment named a top workplace in Northeast Ohio

JACK Entertainment has been named a 2020 Top Workplace by The Plain Dealer. For the third year in a row, the company has received the recognition which is based on feedback from an anonymous team member survey that measures workplace culture.
As the only gaming operator based in the state of Ohio, part of the workplace culture JACK Entertainment has fostered includes empowering its team members to give back to the community they call home. JACK’s mission to be a champion for good in the community through its charitable giving efforts saw JACK team members supporting more than 50 local organisations, and serving more than 500 volunteer hours within the last year.
“2020 has provided JACK Entertainment with exciting accomplishments, unprecedented challenges and through it all our driving force has always been the passion of our dedicated team members. As Ohio’s gaming company, we strive to deliver an engaging environment that individuals are excited to be a part of and know they can excel in,” said Chad Barnhill, chief operating officer of JACK Entertainment. “We are honoured to receive this recognition for a third year in a row and are grateful for our devoted team members who continue to make JACK a great place to work and play. It is achievements such as this that push our company into the future as we know there is always more work to be done and room to grow in all that we do.”
The Ohio gaming company located in Cleveland, owns and operates Jack Cleveland Casino, Ohio’s first full-service casino located inside the historic Higbee Building in the heart of downtown Cleveland, and JACK Thistledown Racino, a historic Cleveland-area thoroughbred racetrack and gaming facility. Together these properties employ nearly 1,400 JACK team members and features 16 bars and dining establishments, and more than 150,000 square feet of gaming space.
