US – KGM’s production continues to thrive during Covid-19 pandemic

By - 29 September 2020

Philadelphia-based casino supply manufacturer, KGM Gaming developed multiple Social Protection solutions alongside their original gaming devices and furnishings to help boost their production during the Covid-19 Pandemic and keep their staff employed and working through the summer months.

Casinos around the country have been utilizing the products to get started on their ‘new normal’ protocols while reopening establishments under new state regulations.
KGM has recently partnered with multiple casinos across the US like Graton Casino in California, Poconos Downs in Pennsylvania, Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment in Arizona, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in New Jersey, BCLC in Canada and dozens more. Casinos like these have been in need of products that provide additional levels of protection for customers and employees, some of which have been mandated by their state in order to reopen. Being a USA-based manufacturing company,

KGM has been able to work quickly to fulfil this need. The new custom fit plexiglass barriers took roughly two months to complete designs, prototypes and begin producing in April 2020.

“Our team has been working hard and taking all necessary precautions to assure we’re safely putting out a product that’s not only high quality but a product that’s adapting with the current world pandemic. We had not discussed protection products in such depth before 2020, but we were able to adapt and shift production toward helping the demand for PPE,” said Jason Peters, President of KGM Gaming. “We continue to move forward with production and we want to be able to help other businesses come back from all of the unknowns just as strong. Not knowing if your business can make it during these times is incredibly scary. We want to help offer some support.”

In addition to the new Social Protection line, KGM continued to produce their custom slot bases, casino signage, custom chairs, and gaming devices. In 2020 alone, KGM provided seating for Saracen Casino in Arkansas, JACK Thistledown Racino in Ohio, J&J Gaming in Illinois, Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in Mississippi, and Churchill Downs Oak Grove in Kentucky, among others. Additional major projects included slot bases for Oaklawn Park in Arkansas, Churchill Downs Oak Grove in Kentucky, Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in Mississippi, and Delaware Park Casino in Delaware. Signage was created for three Four Winds Casino properties in Michigan including outfitting their new Sportsbook with a video wall and LCD signage, BCLC Casino of the Rockies & Cascades Langley in Canada, PARX Casino in Pennsylvania, Tioga Downs in New York and Resorts World Catskills in New York.
