Legends Bay Casino Resort has announced 30 August 30 as the official public opening date for northern Nevada’s first new casino in over 20 years.
Located at The Outlets at Legends, the 80,000 square foot casino and dining destination will welcome the public for the first time at 8:00 p.m. In celebration of the opening, there will also be a firework show on September 2.
“It’s an honour and a privilege for us to open the first new casino in northern Nevada in a very long time,” remarked Garry Goett, Chairman and CEO of Olympia Companies.
“We have been working tirelessly to bring this project to life for many years, and we are very excited to share it with the community.
“From our one of kind restaurants to the very first Circa Sports Sportsbook, we have designed Legends Bay Casino to offer the best in class in gaming, dining, and sports.”
On the casino floor are over 650 slot and video poker machines, a high limit slot room, 10 live table games, five blackjack tables including two single deck blackjack games and the royal match side bet, craps, roulette, three card poker, pai gow poker, ultimate Texas hold’em, and live keno – which includes a million-dollar progressive game.
Legends Bay will offer a bespoke loyalty programme, LB Rewards, the region’s only Circa Sports Sportsbook, a high-limit room, and new restaurants – Duke’s Steak House, LB Grill, and Food Truck Hall.
With LB Rewards, free membership entitles all players to earn and redeem points for free play and to receive exclusive Flash Play games right at their machine. The earning metric is based on the amount wagered at the machine. As soon as the card is inserted, the player is automatically eligible, and LB Rewards members earn free play for their points.
LB Rewards is linked to the Casino Fandango Rewards programme so members will be able to play with their Rewards card, earn and redeem benefits at either casino. For new members, LB Rewards will offer tier matching and special promotions.
Legends Bay Casino provides ergonomic chairs, and rich, warm lighting. Additionally, the casino provides more space between machines in an array of pod-like configurations, high ceilings to create uninterrupted visibility, and a state-of-the-art ventilation system that provides fresh air exchange as fast as every five minutes.
“We are excited to welcome guests and deliver a gaming experience unlike any in the region, added Court Cardinal, regional president of Olympia Gaming, the operator of Legends Bay Casino and Casino Fandango in Carson City.
“With gaming at the forefront of our vision here at Legends Bay, we are also excited to showcase our restaurants, including Duke’s Steak House, LB Grill and the Food Truck Hall.
“Combined with our three signature casino bars, live entertainment and the best sportsbook in town, Legends Bay Casino truly has something for everyone.”
