US – Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland to add 150 slots

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland has announced the expansion of its Orchid Gaming & Smoking Patio. With its indoor-outdoor feel, the space doubled in size, features an additional 150 new slot machines, sports betting kiosks, bar-top games, stage area for live performances, a high-end collection of cigars and liquor for purchase, additional comfortable lounge seating, and added restrooms.
Beyond the expansion of the space, the venue will showcase brand-new TVs and LED screens, 300 total slot machines, and an improved exhaust and air ventilation system. The Orchid Gaming & Smoking Patio continues to offer live action table games including Blackjack, Baccarat, craps and roulette, video poker, and more.
“The Orchid Gaming & Smoking Patio was the first of its kind in Maryland and this significant expansion is the result of its popularity with our guest and allows us to provide them with an enhanced gaming experience in an updated and inviting open-air space,” said Rob Norton, President of Cordish Gaming Group.
Symbolizing wealth and fortune, the Orchid, the lounge’s namesake, is one of the most significant flowers in Asian culture. This outdoor space is interspersed with visually stunning features representing the four elements, Earth, Air, Fire and Water.
