US – Mohegan Gaming makes progress with Mohegan Sun Casino Las Vegas

Despite the onset of the pandemic and its continuing effects on travel and tourism, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment is making good progress in its quest to become the first tribal casino in the highly prestigious Las Vegas market at the reimagined Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, opening 2021.
Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will offer guests and players membership in the award-winning Momentum program. For the third straight year, USA TODAY named Momentum one of the 10Best player clubs in the country.

Momentum is the rewards program that revolves around you. The more a guest plays, the faster they will elevate their Status Level, and the higher the status, the more amazing benefits the guest will earn at the casino’s nearly 650 slot machines and 50 table games. Momentum Members begin at Core status, then move up to Ignite, Leap, Ascend and finally Soar. As a casino guests moves up, they will enjoy additional access, perks and personalized experiences throughout the entire resort in Las Vegas.
While playing, guests will also earn Momentum Dollars, which are spendable across Virgin Hotels Las Vegas at the hotel, restaurants, bars, concert venues and participating retail outlets. Momentum Dollars can also be used at Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment resorts and affiliate casinos across the globe, including casinos in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Washington and coming soon to South Korea and Canada. One Momentum Dollar is equivalent to $1 when used for purchases at the resort. Momentum Dollars are worth double in free slot play at most of the nearly 650 slot machines at Mohegan Sun Casino Las Vegas.
Guests will be able to check their rewards balances, offers and available promotions anytime at many Momentum Kiosks on site, at MoheganSunLasVegas.com or by speaking to a Momentum representative at the Cashier’s Cage.
The Momentum program is free to join for all guests 21 years of age and older. Former Backstage Pass members will be welcomed back with a Status Level match, from the resort’s previous program. All Momentum program promotional matters are subject to typical regulatory approvals in anticipation of the casino’s opening to the public.
To welcome new members, Mohegan Sun Casino Las Vegas will be launching the $500,000 Maximum Momentum giveaway, beginning in early 2021, upon the casino’s grand opening. All new Momentum members will be eligible to spin and win free slot play or a grand finale spot to win a grand prize 2021 Range Rover. The grand prize winner is currently anticipated to be selected on July 3, 2021.
