US – Nanocosmos to present platform updates at SBC Summit North America

By - 11 July 2022

nanoStream Cloud live demos will be available to see at nanocosmos’ booth at SBC Summit NA on July 12-14 taking place in New Jersey at the Meadowlands Exposition Center.

At Stand #102, nanocosmos will focus on the release of its interactive live streaming platform and API nanoStream Cloud on optimised quality of service and quality of experience.

After the innovations that were introduced earlier this year including stream protection, extended analytics and sub-second latency, SBC’s visitors will see nanoStream Cloud’s new features that support improved user experience.

Further expansion of the live streaming platform’s network to the Americas, including South America, is bringing better quality of service to remote regions and hostile network environments.

Additional security and control measures to protect against misuse are helpful to keep monetised video content protected. New features that will be shown at SBC are part of nanoStream Analytics, a component of nanoStream Cloud.

By providing information about usage, traffic volume, a world map’s overview on ingest/playout, but also several aggregated metrics, the interactive live streaming solution allows business customers to understand the performance and quality of service of their live streams.

With nanoStream Cloud Analytics Release 2.16 nanocosmos introduces a new feature that is available for multiple widgets and grants access to additional breakdowns.

With one click customers can retrieve more detailed data on the different displayed information: Part of these widgets are e.g. about usage, playout/ingest and maximum concurrent viewers.

The newly added breakdowns pop up to display the following top ten measures for the selected parameters: IP, stream name, country or city. Another widget is the world map that shows usage as part of a geographical breakdown.

It now can be set to show ranking countries for playout/ingest, buffering play ratio, latency, playtime average, usage, ABR playtime, ABR viewer, abr switches, quality of experience. The newly added breakdowns enable stream providers to better understand changes of latency, playing time or stream quality, fluctuations and their cause based on respective parameters.
