The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has awarded more online gaming licences to the Tropicana, Golden Nugget Atlantic City and the two properties owned by Trump Entertainment; Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort and Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino.

The Tropicana has partnered with GameSys to offer its online platform. Tony Rodio, Tropicana’s President & CEO, said:  “We are pleased to have Gamesys as Tropicana Atlantic City’s Internet gaming partner and excited to grow our gaming business and reach new customers. Gamesys has a proven track record in the UK of providing excellent products and customer service and we look forward to launching Tropicana’s Internet gaming business with them,” said Mr. Rodio.

We look forward to working with the team at Tropicana to leverage the very best of the Gamesys platform and capabilities to serve existing customers and win new customers online.”

The Golden Nugget will offer Internet gambling under its own brand using Bally Technologies as its provider. It will use the websites GoldenNuggetCasino.com andGoldenNuggetPoker.com.

Golden Nugget Executive Vice President and General Manager Tom Pohlman said: “All players that desire to gamble online deserve a fair and trustworthy experience. Rest assured, that is our customer commitment, and unlike others, we have an Atlantic City land-based casino to stand behind our online brand.”

Bally Technologies will serve as the Golden Nugget’s main technology provider, offering an open design iGaming platform that will allow the casino to integrate with the finest of content providers.

John Connelly, Vice President of Business Development for Bally, said: “The opportunity to combine both tradional and online resources with the Golden Nugget brand was strategically very important to us. The planned integration to the current casino system and diversified product offering will provide a unique experience for online players.”

Tilman Fertitta, Chairman, CEO and owner of Landry’s, added: “We believe that iGaming is a future multi- billion dollar market in the U.S. and we want to play a major role in it. To demonstrate our long term commitment to online gaming, we have hired a seasoned veteran with vast knowledge of this evolving industry and the Golden Nugget brand. Thomas Winter will lead the charge. He has worked in the iGaming industry for six years working with firms such as Betclic and Expekt.com.

He said: “I look forward to joining the Landry’s family and representing the Golden Nugget, a recognised and trusted brand across the nation. Unlike other casinos, Golden Nugget will go under its own brand to build up a specialised iGaming team in house.”

Trump will partner with Ultimate Gaming.

Trump Entertainment Resorts CEO Robert Griffin said: “We are very pleased to acknowledge that Trump Plaza and Trump Taj Mahal have received the third and fourth Internet gaming permits in the state of New Jersey. This is very positive for the company and the Atlantic City market. Ultimate Gaming is a pioneer in the online gaming space and can provide a turnkey solution for our online gaming needs in New Jersey. We are delighted to be working with a trusted partner that has a proven track record.”
