The all new Quil Ceda Creek Casino in Tulalip in Washington held its grand opening on February 3, introducing the public to the next major gaming, dining and entertainment destination in the Northwest.

The highly anticipated new casino spans 126,000 square feet, more than twice the size of the current property across the street. It will spotlight a beautifully designed and greatly expanded main casino, a new Food Hall and additional dining options, an innovative entertainment venue and a six-story parking garage. The new Quil Ceda Creek Casino is situated on 15 acres of Tulalip Tribal land located directly off I-5 at exit 199.

Following a Tulalip Tribes’ ceremony blessing the new “Q” the doors opened to customers at 10am. Initial capacity will be limited, with a text message system informing guests when they can enter the casino.

Called ‘The Q’ by locals, the new Quil Ceda Creek Casino includes 1,500 gaming machines (an increase of 500 machines) and 16 table games (with three new tables and new games added). Two brand new titles on the gaming floor are EZ Baccarat – a fast, easy-to-play game following the same game play format as baccarat, and Craps with Fire Bet. Spanish 21 Progressive and i-Roulette, an electronic chipless version of Roulette, will also go live, joining Double Deck Blackjack, Roulette, Free Bet Blackjack, Fortune Pai-Gow Progressive and Ultimate Texas Hold’m Progressive. It will be a no smoking and vaping property, providing designated smoking areas for guests’ convenience.

Ken Kettler, President and COO of the Tulalip Gaming Organisation, said: “We’re pleased with the extra we’ve been able to put on top of what was already a great success.”

“We can’t wait to show guests what we mean when we say there will be ‘More to Love’ in their gaming, dining and entertainment experience,” said Belinda Hegnes, Interim Executive VP of Quil Ceda Creek Casino. “We’ll continue to provide the friendly, casual guest experience we’re known for, but now in a larger facility with more room to enjoy all that we offer.”

The new casino will continue to safeguard the health and safety of guests and team members with multiple programs: limited capacity, guests and team members are required to wear properly fitting masks, no-touch temperature checks performed upon entry, social distancing, aggressive deep cleaning procedures, and entertainment areas closed based on COVID-19 guidelines.
