Nevada’s casinos secured their best ever October with GGR reaching $1.315bn, making October 2023 the sixth-best month in Nevada’s history.
Slot revenue came in at $894.8m, up two per cent, whilst table gaming and sports betting generated $420.2m, an increase of four per cent..
On the Las Vegas Strip, casinos generated $714.5m, a 1.2 per cent year-on-year increase. with baccarat driving the increase with an increase of 35 per cent and Pai Gow, up 97 per cent, as slots fell by one per cent. Downtown’s casinos were up eight per cent to $97.5m, securing its best ever monthly revenues. The Boulder Strip generated GGR of $88.6m, up 10.3 per cent, whilst Reno’s GGR increased by 9.1 per cent to reach $70.3m.
Michael Lawton, the state Gaming Control Board’s senior economic analyst, believes November will also set a personal best.
“We will be reporting the November gaming win totals during the last week of December and I understand there will be a great deal of anticipation to see the results and the impact from F1, so everyone will have to stay tuned until that time,” he said.
