US – Parx Casino upgrades its floor to iVIZION

By - 9 September 2019

Philadelphia’s Parx Casino has upgraded its entire casino floor to JCM Global’s iVIZION bill validator, GEN5 Thermal Printer, and ICB Intelligent Cash Box. JCM’s products replace equipment from two other suppliers.

“Parx Casino is the number one casino in Pennsylvania, and we promise our customers a state-of-the-art gaming experience. Upgrading our casino with JCM technology delivers on that promise and allows us to connect with our customers in even more direct ways, today and into the future,” said Steve Houle, Director of Slot Operations.

iVIZION features advanced CIS (Contact Image Sensor) technology and is the most secure bill validator in the global gaming industry. iVIZION protects operators by reading over 9.5 million data points on each note; capturing more than twice the data of the nearest competitor product. iVIZION’s powerful combination of optical sensors and mechanical security offers operators unmatched levels of protection against counterfeiters and cheats, all at the industry’s highest acceptance rates.

A perfect companion to iVIZION, JCM’s ICB drop management system is field-proven to save operators hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. It provides real-time health monitoring data and predictive drop and maintenance scheduling to dramatically increase operational efficiency.

The GEN5 Thermal Printer is the better, faster, smarter printing solution. It has an incredibly fast CPU and print speed, combined with the flexibility to print TITO and promotional tickets, as well as various wager tickets and templated promo coupons, empowering operators to communicate with customers.

“The partnership JCM has with Parx Casino is phenomenal. We are proud to have provided them with our industry-leading transaction solutions. With iVIZION and GEN5, Parx Casino now has the technology foundation in place to expand into our real-time FUZION system to increase their gaming machine capabilities and create better customer connections,” said Dave Kubajak, SVP of Sales, Marketing & Operations.
