Playtech has confirmed it will grow its presence in the US via a deal with Greenwood Racing, the operator of Parx Casino, taking Playtech into Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

As well as operating Parx, the largest casino in Pennsylvania, Greenwood runs an online casino and an online sports book in the Keystone State, as well as online casinos and land-based sports betting in New Jersey and a land-based betting in Michigan. This partnership will launch a Parx-branded online casino in Michigan using Playtech’s IMS Platform and Player Account Management. Parx has also announced plans to launch an online offering in Indiana.

Mor Weizer, Playtech CEO, said: “This strategic partnership with the Greenwood companies represents a major milestone for Playtech and I’m excited to work with them to help achieve their growth plans in the coming years. The US is a highly strategic market and this multi-state, multi-product agreement highlights the demand for the full breadth of our product offering. This is the next step for Playtech in the US and we are delighted to work with the Greenwood companies to capture this exciting long-term opportunity.”

Playtech first entered into the US market via deals with Bet365 and BetMGM, the joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain, in New Jersey.
