US – Sands Bethlehem sets new record in table revenue

Table game play at Sands Bethlehem has reached new heights with GGR of US$17.4m in November representing the largest monthly total in Pennsylvania since table games were introduced in 2010.

November’s total beat the $17m record Sands set in June, and was $4.7m higher than Sands’ November total in 2012. Financials released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board showed how far ahead Sands was from its competitiors.

Parx Casino in Bensalem had the second-highest table revenue with $9.6m, followed by SugarHouse’s $7.5m and Harrah’s Casino in Chester, which generated $6.4m.

Overall, the state’s 12 casinos saw a 14 per cent increase in table play with $63.7m generated. Combined with slot revenue, November total GGR was $253.7m, an increase of 2.2 per cent from 2012.
