US – Sportsbook opens at Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino

William Hill sportsbook at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino in New Mexico, opened its doors to sports fans and visitors alike July 25.
Members of the Mescalero Apache Tribe and Holly Holm participated in the grand opening celebrations, which included a ribbon cutting ceremony and the first ceremonial bet placed in the sportsbook.
The Mescalero Apache Tribe President Arthur “Butch” Blazer and Vice President Gabe Aguilar each bet $100 for the Cowboys to win the super bowl. Holly Holm placed a $100 bet on Cyborg to beat Spencer in UFC 240.
The new sportsbook, is located inside the casino, between the Big Game Sports Bar and the Apache Spirit Club. Featuring 12 43-inch televisions and high-top seating, this newly renovated space will provide guests with a high-energy place to gather with friends and enjoy the upcoming football season as well as their favourite teams year-round.
