US – WSOP and 888Poker to share player pools

As they look to get more players in New Jersey, WSOP and 888Poker have joined forces to pool players and add more liquidity to both competitions and cash games online.
Both operators will maintain their VIP and reward programs separately.
David Licht, CEO of the All American Poker Network, the joint venture between 888 Holdings and Avenue Capital, said: “Shared liquidity will help create a better player experience that we hope will attract a diversity of players and begin to bring poker to a broader audience once again.”
