Wynn Resorts will be teaming up with 888 Holdings as its foray into internet gambling kick starts with Wynn confirming it will using the All American Poker Network created by 888 and Avenue Capital Group.

All American Poker Network, the joint venture between Avenue Capital Group and 888 Holdings Public Limited Company has entered into a partnership agreement with Wynn Interactive, a subsidiary of Wynn Resorts, for the development and deployment of Wynn’s online offering in New Jersey, Nevada and additional states, as they become regulated.

AAPN, powered by the industry-leading 888 platform, has commenced its licensing and deployment process in New Jersey and Nevada, and will be providing Wynn with its Poker, Casino and Back Office platform, as well as additional operational services. Under this agreement, Wynn will deploy its online brands alongside the 888.com brands in the US, and will be able to pool liquidity on the All American Poker Network, subject to regulatory clearances.

David Licht, Executive Chairman of AAPN, commented: “AAPN is honored to be selected by Wynn to be its online gaming partner. The platform and ancillary services AAPN will offer through 888, coupled with Wynn’s marquee brand, which is synonymous with quality and trust, will further establish our offering in the forming US regulated online gaming market.”

Brian Mattingley, CEO of 888, commented: “This is exactly the type of partnership we’ve envisioned when we formed AAPN with our partners Avenue Capital. The challenge of establishing a robust, entertaining offering with ample player liquidity is one of our prime goals, in direct continuum to 888’s success in other regulated markets such as Spain and Italy. Wynn’s market footprint and reputation will allow it to leverage our technology and products as it did so successfully in the land-based world.”
