Bally’s, America’s legendary casino brand, has landed at The Gate in Newcastle, having taken the casino over from previous owner Aspers.

The venue has now been rebranded as Bally’s Casino and is about to embark on a full-scale makeover this summer with a completion date of the end of the year. Customers can expect ‘a luxurious, state-of-the-art environment’ which aims to take the venue to a next level. With over 90 years of experience in gaming and entertainment, Bally’s is bringing a new era of excitement to the city.

Kevin Clegg, Vice President of Bally’s UK retail and corporate affairs, said: “Our guests can look forward to an enhanced experience throughout the year while we complete our refurbishment plan. We are proud to become a part of the Newcastle community and to contribute to the local economy in a safe, responsible gambling environment.”

“We’ve got plenty planned for the casino and over the coming weeks and months, you’ll start to see changes – new casino games, new offers, and a whole new way to play. But one thing won’t change: our commitment to service, those unforgettable nights, and the incredible gaming action you know and love.”

David Tait, General manager of Bally’s Newcastle, said: “My team and I look forward to welcoming both our current and new guests and we can’t wait to showcase everything we’ve been working on. We remain open and guests will be able to see some exciting changes very soon.”
