World Tote Association offering Racing and Betting Forum in Berlin in October
The World Tote Association will be hosting the third Racing and Betting Forum in Berlin on Thursday October 2 2025, followed by horseracing at Hoppegarten Racecourse for German Unity Day on Friday October 3.
The Forum will take place in the Hotel Dorint Kurfürstendamm, southwest of the city of Berlin.
A spokesperson said: “We are delighted to announce Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, CEO of Loterie Romande, former President of World Lotteries Association as keynote speaker for the opening session. The Forum will look at key international issues impacting pool betting, including the development of sports pools, alongside new ways to create the next generation of horseracing fans and grow horserace betting through key initiatives such as specialist docuseries and new broadcasting opportunities around the world.”
The event will cover topics such as How can Tote betting operators and lotteries learn from each other, How can lotteries and Tote operators cooperate more on product development across horseracing and sport, World Pool growth and opportunities and the Development of Sports Pools Products
There will also be a session on presenting racing in action (new TV series, docuseries) and the data behind the sport and how to utilise it.
