Spain – Aristocrat fully prepped for Feria Internacional del Juego

By - 19 March 2019

Aristocrat Technologies is set to show its most comprehensive portfolio of games for the Spanish market at the Feria Internacional del Juego, taking place in Madrid on April 9 to 10.

Incorporating a wide range of premium games for both Salon and Casino segments, Aristocrat will host a mixture of proven and ‘coming next’ concepts not previously seen by Spanish gaming operators, under a localised version of Aristocrat’s ‘It’s all about what’s inside’ global theme.

“Visitors to our stand at the ICE Show in London were impressed by the progress that has been made to Aristocrat’s offering for Spanish Salons,” said Alfonso Sánchez, Sales Director (non-casino) EMEA. “This includes a number of improvements to the player interface; notably a more convenient credit conversion and help screen panel built into the main game’s touch display, as well as a more intuitive, simplified button panel and autoplay functionality.”

Mr. Sánchez continued: “The library of games is being continually strengthened by adding more titles featuring mechanics found in the most popular game families such as Gold Stacks, Coyote Queen, Sacred Guardians and Sweet Skulls, offering operators more flexibility in bet entry price points and standalone jackpot levels. We are also introducing five ‘Legends’ dual game packs, whereby players can choose to play original versions of Aristocrat’s legendary global classics – 5 Dragons, 5 Koi, Geisha, Queen of the Nile and Whales of Cash – or elect to play deluxe renditions, usually requiring an ante bet for the chance of winning enhanced free games features.”

Also on display will be the new ‘Nido del Dragón’ Mystery Jackpot solution, offering duelling jackpots that players can win at no additional cost to their wager, available soon on a videowall sign that can be added to any of Aristocrat’s Salon banks.

Aristocrat’s portfolio for Spanish casinos has been vastly expanded this year, with around 30 new games being made available in 17 jurisdictions, incorporating concepts with a proven track record in appealing to all player segments.

Vice-President, Sales & Business Development (Casino) – EMEA, Erik van den Berg explained: “Spain is a major focus for Aristocrat’s casino footprint expansion in Europe and we are working closely with key partners in the country to offer players the best possible games from Aristocrat’s expansive global portfolio.”

Lightning Link – the original and best ‘Hold & Spin’ phenomenon, a worldwide success and already firmly established at several Spanish casinos – is being bolstered with the addition of four new base games: Bengal Treasures, Wild Chuco, Dragon Riches and Eyes of Fortune, adding new base game variety for bank extensions and new installations.

“Originated by Aristocrat, the ‘Hold & Spin’ mechanic has set a new benchmark in gaming, with Lightning Link having demonstrated market-leading performance for a period spanning not just months, but several years,” explained Mr. van den Berg. “Another of its highly respected derivatives, Mighty Cash has also been capturing players’ hearts across the world and is now coming to Spain in both premium and standard formats.”

Zorro and Pan Am will feature in the Arc Single Premium Pod format in the Mighty Link (linked progressive) configuration, whilst standalone Mighty Cash games include Vegas Wins and Outback Bucks.

The extraordinary Arc Double cabinet – enjoying a substantial following courtesy of the highly popular Game of Thrones, backed up by The Walking Dead 2 – will also benefit from additional library support with the arrival of Tarzan, currently one of the best performing licensed games in North America.

Mr. van den Berg concluded, “The casino games on show in Madrid represent a select cross-section of Aristocrat games currently being brought to market, but they all have a pivotal role in the next generation of games being played on Spanish casino floors over the coming months and years.”
