Aland – PAF goes live on the MPN

The MPN, previously known as the Microgaming Poker Network, is pleased to announce that Paf is live on the MPN.
Founded in 1966 by a group of charities, Paf, whose slogan is ‘Play Among Friends’, is a not-for-profit gaming operator licensed in the Åland Islands, an autonomous region of Finland. Unique to the gaming industry, Paf donates all of its profits to good causes. To date, the company has raised over €174 million; in 2012 alone it donated €20m in grants to various projects including health, social and cultural activities.
Paf is live on the MPN through the Paf Heart Poker brand, which utilises a very simplified lobby that allows players to link directly to the tables from the website, thus bypassing the lobby.

Naturally we are delighted to go live with our Heart Poker room,” said Herbert Paradis, Head of Poker at Paf. “With our unique integration, beginner players have an entirely new player journey, as we can direct them to cash game tables and tournaments with a single click. Together with Microgaming, we have solved the problem of poker lobbies being too complex for beginners to navigate.”
In addition to the new beginner-friendly interface, players also have access to the traditional advanced lobby, as well as all the promotions and unique game features offered on the MPN. Current promotions running on the MPN include the Risk Free WSOP qualifiers, through which players can win WSOP packages that refund a players event buy-in if they do not cash in Vegas, and the new Heads Up 8 Man Blaze tables, built to combat the heads up bum-hunting problem.
