Apache Nugget signs sports betting deal with ISI for New Mexico’s Travel Center & Casino
Apache Nugget Corporation, a provider of hospitality and entertainment experiences across northern New Mexico, has announced its new partnership with ISI Race & Sports, the global provider of race and sportsbook technology.
With ISI on board, Apache Nugget has begun installing a fully functional race and sports book at its Travel Center & Casino near Cuba, N.M. It will be open to guests in August.
“We’ve heard our guests loud and clear: they want the ability to legally wager on races and sports,” said Tony J. Amormino, President and CEO of Apache Nugget Corporation. “In a few short weeks, they’ll be able to do just that.”
“This is a thrilling development for ISI to have the opportunity to provide advisory services to Apache Nugget relating to its new sportsbook,” said Ernest Matthews, Vice President and General Counsel of ISI. “With ISI technologies, Apache Nugget can offer exciting, new gaming experiences for its guests on property and, in the future, on mobile. This will further strengthen the Jicarilla Apache Nation’s ability to secure additional revenue supporting its culture and future for its members.”
The Apache Nugget Travel Center & Casino is located at 537 U.S. Highway 550, about 15 miles northwest of Cuba. It features 80 of the newest slot machines available anywhere, a wall full of electronic table game stations, including blackjack, video poker, roulette, craps and baccarat, a fully functional race and sports book (coming soon) and a Players Club with great perks and rewards.
In addition, the travel center offers a full convenience store, gas station, trucker’s lounge and more.
