Having been found suitable to maintain its casino licence by the Western Australian Government, construction is now underway at Crown Perth on a range of exciting food, beverage and entertainment venues including a wine bar, beer garden and a premium international food hall.

The multi-million development facing Bolton Avenue is the biggest investment in Crown Perth in almost a decade and will feature more than a dozen new venues.

The ‘Urban Food District’ will offer a diverse variety of global cuisines and three new bars in a lively social setting, alongside a vibrant outdoor beer garden and hidden speakeasy bar. A short stroll from Optus Stadium and adjacent to the Crown Theatre, the Urban Food District be open late on weekends with DJs creating the perfect atmosphere for catching up with friends after a game, concert or show.

A luxury wine bar is also in development at Crown Towers. The bar will honour Western Australia’s unique landscape, history and award-winning wine regions, with a predominantly local wine list together with a curated selection of globally renowned wines. Located between the Crown Towers and Metropol hotels, it’ll be an ideal meeting spot before the theatre, or for guests to sample WA’s finest vintages during their stay at Crown.

Western Australian owned and operated Hoskins has been appointed to deliver the Urban Food District, with construction to create 150 local jobs. Additional hospitality roles will be created when the venues open.

The announcement follows recent major investments in Crown properties nationally, including the launch of Marmont restaurant and expansion to The Palms Theatre in Melbourne. At Crown Sydney, Golden Century opened earlier this year, joining an award-winning stable of home-grown and international restaurants.

Crown Perth CEO Brian Pereira said:  “Locals and visitors will soon have more options than ever at Crown Perth to grab a delicious and quick bite to eat, meet up with friends for dinner, or have a beer before or after the footy. Crown has been attracting new experiences, renowned restaurants and entertainment to the heart of Perth for 40 years – and we’re delighted to be expanding and reimagining this vibrant dining precinct.”

Crown Perth has implemented significant reforms following a business-wide transformation, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and team members. Overall, approximately $200 million has been invested in these reforms, with key areas of focus including harm minimisation; financial crime; governance, compliance and risk; and culture.
